According to Rachel, Susan G. Komen Dallas County was founded in 1992. Since then, the organization has invested over $22 million in breast health services for disadvantaged residents of the county. It funds diagnostic testing, mammograms, treatment, and education and support efforts. Funds – including over $2.5 million in five years – are also invested in breast cancer research.
“Connect has had a great quarter so far, but we aren’t finished yet,” Rachel indicated. “Right now, we’re focusing the holiday season on a toy drive.
